  • 3 cups button mushrooms
  • 1 1/2 cups queso fresco
  • 1/2 cups cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoons nutmeg
  • salt
  • 3 dehydrated tomato oil
  • 1/4 onions
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 cups cilantro
  • 1/4 cups chipotle chile
  • 1 cup vegetable broth
  • vegetable oil
  • queso fresco, for garnish

  • Chop the mushrooms finely and mix them in a bowl with the fresh cheese, cornstarch, cream, egg, garlic powder, nutmeg, and salt.
  • Blend the tomato, onion, garlic, cilantro, chipotle, and vegetable broth. Cook for 15 minutes.
  • In a pan with hot oil, using a spoon, pour the mushroom mixture and form the patties. Fry for 5 minutes; remove excess fat.
  • Once you have the patties ready, mix with the hot sauce and serve on a plate. Garnish with fresh cheese and cilantro.
