  • 2 cups Quaker® old fashioned oats
  • water, hot
  • 10 tomatillos
  • 1/4 onions
  • 2 serrano chiles
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cups cilantro
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 cups jocoque
  • 1/2 cups panela cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cups red onion

  • For the oat dough, blend the Quaker® Oats until they become powder.
  • Mix the Quaker® Oats with water until a dough forms.
  • Roll out the dough on a surface and make triangular cuts on a baking sheet, bake at 200 °C for 15 minutes, or until crispy. Set aside.
  • For the sauce, boil the tomatoes, onion, chiles, and garlic until they change color. Blend with chicken broth, cilantro, salt, pepper, and cumin.
  • Cook the sauce in a small pot for 8 minutes, adjust seasoning.
  • Serve the oat tortilla chips, drizzle with the sauce, and garnish with jocoque, panela cheese, and red onion.
