  • 2 potatoes, cooked, for the chalupas
  • 1/2 cups corn masa flour, for the chalupas
  • salt, for the chalupas
  • water, for the chalupas
  • vegetable oil, for frying
  • refried beans, for serving
  • guacamole, for serving
  • chorizo, fried, for serving
  • queso fresco, shredded
  • 1 Sidral Mundet® Apple flavor, of 600 ml

  • For the chalupas: Mash the potatoes until you get a puree and add the corn flour and salt, and mix. If necessary, add a little water.
  • Place plastic over the lemon squeezer to prevent sticking. Add a little dough and press lightly to shape the chalupa. Form several chalupas and set aside.
  • Heat the oil in a semi-deep pot and fry the chalupas for 5 minutes. Drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
  • Fill the chalupas with a bit of refried beans, chorizo, guacamole, and cheese. Pair with Sidral Mundet® Apple flavor.
