Recipe for Mexican-style Steaks

  • Jalapeño chile
  • 1 cup onion, in thin strips
  • 1 cup Jalapeño chile, in thin strips
  • 2 cups tomato, in small cubes
  • 6 ball steaks, in thick strips

  • 1/2 cups tomato soup
  • cilantro, finely chopped, for garnish
  • white rice, for garnish
  • pot beans, for garnish
  • corn tortillas, for garnish

  • Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat, add the chiles, and cook until slightly golden. Then remove, add the onion and the strips of chile, then remove and add the tomato. Cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add the steaks, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 5 minutes, sealing the meat. Once well-sealed, pour in the tomato broth and cook for 5 more minutes. Finally, add the cilantro.
  • Serve the Mexican-style steaks in the pan and accompany with beans from the pot.
