  • For the filling: heat a pan over medium heat, add vegetable oil, onion, and garlic; sauté for 5 minutes, add the ground meat and cook for another 10 minutes.
  • Add the tomato puree, season with salt and pepper, and cover. Cook for 10 minutes and set aside.
  • For the molotes: cook the plantain in water for 10 minutes, remove, peel and make a puree; mix with the flour and add salt.
  • To assemble the molotes: take two tablespoons of the puree and fill with ground meat; close the molotes and fry for 5 minutes. Remove.
  • Serve the molotes with lettuce, cream, cheese, red onion, and the sauce.
