Gnocchi Gratin with Ham

  • 1 package gnocchi, or gnocchi
  • 1 package mini cubes of cured ham
  • 200 milliliters clotted cream
  • 1/2 onions
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • salt and pepper
  • oregano
  • 126 grams Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Chop the onion and green pepper. Sauté it with a piece of butter and a splash of olive oil to prevent burning. When the vegetables are translucent, add the diced ham to brown a little, add the cream, season with salt and pepper, and pour in the tomato. Add the oregano. Let it reduce for 5 minutes.
  • Cook the gnocchi in salted water; when they float to the surface, they are ready. Place them in a baking dish, pour the sauce over them, mix, and cover with a layer of grated Parmesan cheese.
  • Gratin for 5 minutes or until golden.
