  • 1 cup double cream cheese
  • 1/4 cups flour
  • 2 tablespoons parsley
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs

  • Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat, add the garlic, potatoes, salt, oregano, and pepper. Cover and cook for 20 minutes.
  • In a bowl, mash the potatoes with the garlic, double cream cheese, York ham, and flour. Season if necessary and add the parsley and eggs. Mix with a wooden spoon.
  • Form the croquettes and set aside.
  • Coat the potato croquettes with egg and breadcrumbs, using a spoon to easily bread them. Set aside.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat and fry the potato croquettes with ham and cheese until they change color and become golden. Then, transfer to absorbent paper to remove excess oil. Set aside.
  • Serve the potato croquettes with ham and cheese and accompany with salad.
