Spanish Rice with Green Vegetables

Give rice a different twist by trying this easy and delicious recipe, which also contains a wide variety of green vegetables that provide many nutrients and are very tasty.

  • 1 Knorr® Spanish rice
  • 1 cup broccoli, washed, cut into small florets
  • 1/2 cups asparagus, clean and sliced
  • 1/2 cups peas, clean
  • 1 cup spinach, disinfected, without stem, cut into thin strips
  • 1 3/4 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

  • In a rice cooker pot, mix and combine the water, oil, and the packet of Knorr® Spanish Rice. Bring to a boil over high heat.
  • Lower the heat and add the asparagus, broccoli, and peas. Cover and let cook for 10 minutes or until all the water has evaporated.
  • Add and incorporate the spinach, let it rest for 5 minutes, and serve.
