Shrimp Pizza with Cheese and Bacon Crust

  • 1 cup flour
  • 11 grams yeast
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • 1 tablespoon basil
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • water, approximately 1 cup
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cups onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic
  • 2 cups pink shrimp
  • 3 tablespoons parsley, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese, fingers
  • 1/2 cups cream cheese, small cubes
  • 1/2 cups bacon, fried
  • 1 cup tomato sauce, for pizza
  • 1 cup bell pepper, of colors
  • Mozzarella cheese, grated
  • Modelo® wheat beer, 355 ml, for pairing

  • On a clean surface, form a volcano with the flour, yeast, salt, oregano, basil, olive oil, water, and knead until you have a homogeneous and elastic dough.
  • Place the dough in a previously greased bowl and cover with cling film. Let it ferment for 1 hour or until it doubles in size.
  • In a skillet, add the butter, onion, garlic, shrimp, parsley, yellow lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  • On a floured surface, roll out the dough, measure the tray you will use, and cut the dough a little larger than its size (about 2 cm). Arrange the mozzarella cheese sticks, cream cheese, and bacon at the edges and cover them with the dough. Seal the edges by pressing lightly to close.
  • Pour the tomato sauce, shrimp, colorful bell peppers, and mozzarella cheese. Bake for 20 minutes at 190°C.
