Garlic Shrimp Marinated in Spicy Sauce

  • 1 head garlic
  • 1/2 cups lime juice
  • 10 pepper, thick
  • 2 tablespoons sea ​​salt
  • 6 tablespoons salsa, Huichol® Habanera
  • 1 kilo shrimp, medium with shell
  • 1/2 cups olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons parsley, finely chopped
  • 4 limes, cut into quarters

  • For the mojo: blend the unpeeled garlic, lime juice, pepper, sea salt, Huichol Habanero sauce until you achieve a paste.
  • Cut the shrimp in half lengthwise with the shell on. Rinse them under cold running water and place them in a large bowl. Pour the previous mixture over them and mix well. Let marinate for 5 minutes.
  • Heat half of the oil in a large skillet and fry half of the shrimp for 10 minutes or until they change color. Transfer to a deep dish.
  • Heat the remaining oil and fry the rest of the shrimp for 10 minutes, then transfer to the previous dish.
