Peruvian Mixed Ceviche

If you like ceviches, this one definitely beats them all. A Peruvian ceviche with octopus, shrimp, and fish cooked in a delicious marinade of lemon and chili that makes it very special and colorful.

  • 1 cup octopus, cooked, diced
  • 1 cup shrimp, small, cleaned and shelled
  • 1 cup fish steak, of sierra fish cut into cubes
  • 1/2 red onions, finely chopped
  • 3 guajillo chiles, finely chopped
  • 1 cup corn kernels, cooked
  • 1 cup lime juice
  • 1/2 cups olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 sweet potato, cooked and diced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, finely chopped
  • 1 lime, sliced, for decoration

  • In a large bowl, mix the octopus, shrimp, fish fillet, red onion, guajillo chili, and corn.
  • Add the lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper and mix very well.
  • Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for 45 minutes.
  • Add the sweet potato and cilantro.
  • Serve and decorate with lemon slices.
