Shrimp and Clam Broth

Shrimp broth is a traditional Mexican recipe that is served hot and usually before eating seafood. For this Shrimp and Clam Broth, we add a bit of clam concentrate that gives it a more intense and delicious flavor.   • 2 cubes Knorr® tomato bouillon
  • 6 cups water
  • 2 carrots, peeled and diced
  • 1/8 onions
  • 1 clove garlic, peeled
  • 12 clams, clean clam
  • 2 dried árbol chiles
  • 400 grams medium-sized shrimp

  • Add water to a pot and when it starts to boil, add the Knorr® Tomato Seasoning cubes.
  • Incorporate the carrot, onion, and garlic.
  • After 5 minutes of cooking, add the clams and chilies.
  • Let it boil for 15 minutes and in the last 5 minutes add the shrimp.
