Tuna Spring Rolls with Soy and Chilies

Give a twist to the classic recipe and prepare these delicious spring rolls filled with Herdez® tuna and vegetables, accompanied by soy sauce. The filo pastry is widely used in Eastern cuisine and is made from flour, egg, and salt.

  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, chopped
  • 1/2 cups carrot, in thin strips
  • 1/2 cups white cabbage, in thin strips
  • 3 envelopes Chilli stew and soy sauce with Herdez® tuna
  • 1/2 cups soybean sprouts
  • 500 grams phyllo dough
  • vegetable oil, for frying
  • parsley, for garnish
  • soy sauce, for accompaniment

  • In a skillet, pour the sesame oil and cook the chopped garlic, fresh ginger, carrot, cabbage, and the Stewed chilies and soy sauce with Herdez® tuna for 10 minutes, add the soybean sprouts and cook for 5 more minutes. Cool.
  • To form the rolls, cut medium squares of filo pastry and place a little of the tuna filling. Carefully roll to form the rolls.
  • Fry in vegetable oil for 5 minutes until golden brown.
  • Serve, garnish with chopped parsley, and accompany with soy sauce.
