Vegetable Patties with Zucchini Flower Sauce

Potato patties are a classic, so we upgraded them with carrot and zucchini. Prepare this recipe for vegetable patties drenched in a creamy zucchini flower sauce and accompanied by panela cheese. They are a true delight that also has a very easy step-by-step process. These patties are an excellent option for a meatless Monday, nutritious and delicious.

  • With the help of a masher, mash the potatoes until they have a puree consistency; add the zucchini, carrot, onion, cilantro, San Juan® Egg pieces, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper, and mix until combined. Set aside.
  • On a board, form patties with the help of your hands and set aside in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a pan and fry the patties for 5 minutes.
  • For the zucchini flower sauce, cook the onion, garlic, and zucchini flowers in a pan. Then blend with the milk, cream cheese, and chicken broth.
  • Cook the sauce for 15 minutes and adjust seasoning.
  • Serve the patties and drizzle with the sauce, garnish with cheese and zucchini flowers. Enjoy.
