Fake Nopal Tlacoyo

  • 3 tablespoons Oléico® safflower oil
  • 12 baby nopales
  • 300 grams Oaxaca cheese
  • 1 cup refried beans
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1/2 onions
  • 2 árbol chiles
  • fresh cilantro, chopped to taste
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon Maggi seasoning
  • 1 pinch salt

  • Crumble the Oaxaca cheese.
  • On each nopal, place a couple of tablespoons of beans, spreading them over the entire surface. Add a little cheese.
  • Heat a skillet over low heat and add a tablespoon of oil. Incorporate the oregano into the oil. Place the nopal and cover the skillet. Once the cheese melts, turn off the heat.
  • Chop the tomato and onion into cubes. Slice the chili. Finely chop the cilantro. Pour everything into a bowl, add the lime, Maggie sauce, and a pinch of salt. Stir.
  • Place some pico de gallo on top of the nopales. Serve.
