Mozzarella, Basil, and Tomato Sandwich

  • 8 wholemeal breads, Oroweat® Whole Grains
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cups extra virgin olive oil
  • 400 grams fresh Mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tomatoes
  • basil, necessary amount

  • In a bowl, mix the oregano, thyme, garlic salt, pepper, and olive oil. Stir.
  • With the previous mixture, brush both sides of the bread.
  • Toast the bread in the oven at 180° C.
  • Slice the Mozzarella cheese and the tomato.
  • Place two slices of cheese on one piece of bread, then two slices of tomato on top of the cheese, and two basil leaves. Sprinkle a little pepper.
