Heat the oil in a pan, add the mushrooms, and cook for 5 minutes or until golden brown.
Pour Doña María® Ready-to-Serve Mole and vegetable broth into a blender, blend until obtaining a homogeneous mixture, and add over the mushrooms. If necessary, add a little salt and cook for 2 more minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
Lay out 1 sheet of aluminum foil and place a piece of parchment paper on top. Place 2 to 3 tablespoons of the mixture, making sure not to overfill, add half a hoja santa and half an avocado leaf. Close the mixiote with hemp string. Repeat this process until finishing with the mixture and leaves.
Pour water into a steamer and heat until boiling. Then, add the already closed mixiotes, cover, and cook for 10 minutes.
Serve the mushroom mixiote with mole and accompany with the nopal salad.
