A very traditional recipe for Christmas parties, cod. Here we present you a delicious preparation, white cod. It is a very simple recipe to prepare, where the taste of potatoes, almonds and güeros make this preparation a delicacy.
To desalinate the cod, immerse it in hot water, change the water every 30 minutes. Repeat the procedure 5 times to remove the salt.
Cook the cod for 1 hour, drain and crumble. Reservation.
Cut the chambray potatoes into halves and cook them in salted water. Remove from the water and reserve.
Chop the garlic finely, heat the oil and fry until golden brown. Add the cod and cook for 30 minutes over low heat.
Add the almonds, the olives, the capers, the güeros chiles, the herbs of smell and the chambray potatoes, mix until integrated and cook for 30 minutes more.
Rectify the seasoning and serve.
