Shrimp Aguachile with Mango and Jalapeño

Prepare this delicious shrimp aguachile with mango that is delicious and ideal for summer. Fresh shrimp cooked in a lemon sauce with chili and mango that makes all the difference. Decorated with purple onion on fried pita bread. A different and tasty option!

  • 500 grams medium-sized shrimp, cleansed
  • 15 limes
  • 1 mango
  • 3 Habanero chiles, roasted and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon Great Value® plain salt
  • 1/4 red onions, cut in pen
  • 2 manzano chiles, sliced
  • 3 Jalapeño chiles, sliced
  • 1 mango, in cubes to decorate
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, leaves to decorate
  • 4 teaspoons Extra Special Olive Oil®
  • pita bread, cut into triangles and fried to accompany

  • Cut the shrimp into butterfly and reserve.
  • Blend lemon juice with mango, habanero pepper and salt.
  • Marinade the shrimp with the previous mixture about 20 minutes.
  • Serve aguachile with purple onion, manzano chili, jalapeño pepper, fresh mango cubes, coriander leaves and finish with a few drops of olive oil.
  • Serve with fried pita bread.
