Vegan Burger

Delicious hamburger rich in protein and iron. Alternative recipe to enjoy this dish characteristic of American cuisine with the Mexican touch of beans.

  • 3 cups beans, cooked
  • 5 grams fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 onions
  • 1 cup oats, in flour
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 1/4 tablespoons ground cumin
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 4 tablespoons coconut oil

  • Cut the onion and garlic into cubes. Fry in a pan until the onion looks clear.
  • Cut the cilantro finely.
  • In a food processor place beans, cilantro and other ingredients except oil and flour.
  • Once the mixture is ready add the oatmeal little by little and mix until you get a dough that does not stick in your hands.
  • Form the hamburger with your hands to the desired size.
  • In a pan with the hot oil, fry the burgers on both sides until golden brown.
  • Serve on hamburger bun accompanied by lettuce, tomato, avocado, ketchup and mustard.
