Baked Feta Cheese Pasta

This pasta recipe is an easy and delicious option to prepare, as it is ready in just a few ingredients and a few minutes in the oven. That's why it has been a hit on social media, in addition to its spectacular flavor. Enjoy it with white wine and sliced bread.

  • 2 cups cherry tomato, whole
  • olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • salt
  • pepper, freshly ground
  • 300 grams feta cheese, whole
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon peperoncino
  • water, for the pasta
  • 1 pinch salt, for the pasta
  • 1 bag La Moderna® Big Elbow, (500 g)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil, for the pasta
  • 1/4 cups basil, fresh, chopped
  • bread, baguette-style, for serving

  • Preheat to 200 °C.
  • Place the cherry tomatoes in a baking dish, pour enough olive oil, add the garlic, salt, and pepper, and mix until combined. Place the feta cheese in the center of the dish and the ingredients around it, add more olive oil, and sprinkle the oregano and pepperoncino on top of the cheese. Bake at 200 °C for 15 minutes.
  • While the cheese is in the oven, prepare the pasta. In a pot, boil water and when it starts to boil, add salt. Wait for it to regain temperature, then add the La Moderna® Codo Grande pasta. Cook for 7 to 11 minutes, drain, add a tablespoon of olive oil, and let cool.
  • Remove the cheese from the oven; you will notice it is soft. Mix with a spoon until integrated with the other ingredients. Add the cooked La Moderna® Codo Grande pasta and the basil, combine, and adjust the seasoning.
  • Serve immediately. Accompany with white wine and bread to taste.
