Turkey Parmesan Stuffed Cannelloni with Hazelnut

Delicious recipe for stuffed cannelloni with turkey, toasted hazelnuts, bacon, serrano ham with a sweet touch of apple and the rich Hunts® Traditional Sauce, baked with mozzarella and parmesan cheese will be the perfect preparation for your holiday celebrations.

  • 1/4 cups smoked bacon, finely chopped, for filling
  • 1/2 cups serrano ham, finely chopped, for filling
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped, for filling
  • 1/2 white onions, finely chopped, for filling
  • 1 kilo turkey breast, cut into small squares, for filling
  • 1 cup apple, cut into small cubes, for filling
  • 1/2 cups hazelnuts, toasted and chopped, for filling
  • 1 Hunt´S® tomato sauce for pasta, (680 g), for filling
  • 1/2 cups Parmesan cheese, grated, for filling
  • 2 tablespoons oregano, for filling
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, dried for filling
  • 2 leaves bay, for filling
  • 1 pinch salt, for filling
  • 1 pinch pepper, ground, for filling
  • 1 package cannelloni pasta
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tablespoons hazelnuts, toasted for decoration
  • 1 cup arugula, for decoration

  • Preheat the oven to 180° C.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the bacon. Remove excess fat and add the serrano ham, garlic, onion, and turkey breast. Cook for 10 minutes.
  • Add the apples and hazelnuts, cook for a few minutes and incorporate the Hunts® Traditional Pasta Sauce, parmesan cheese, oregano, parsley with bay leaf, season with salt and pepper to taste. Set the filling aside.
  • Fill the cannelloni with the previous preparation and place them in a baking dish, add mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese. Cover with aluminum foil.
  • Bake for 30 minutes or until the cannelloni are soft. Remove the aluminum foil and let it gratin in the oven for 10 more minutes. Serve and garnish with hazelnuts and fresh arugula leaves.
