Macaroni Salad

Today I prepared an easy and tasty Macaroni Salad with Ham, it contains carbohydrates and proteins.

  • 1 package elbow pasta, of 200 grams
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 liters water
  • 1 leaf bay
  • 1 cube chicken broth
  • 100 milliliters sour cream
  • 1/4 kilos deli ham
  • 1 cup corn kernels, or canned corn (optional)
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 piece celery
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 50 grams lettuce

  • The steps to make Macaroni Salad with Ham: Heat the water with the bay leaf and the chicken bouillon cube until the water is hot, then add the macaroni and the oil.
  • Once cooked, remove from heat, drain, rinse with cold water, and drain again, removing the bay leaf. Set aside.
  • Wash and disinfect the whole lettuce leaves.
  • Cut the ham into small cubes and finely chop the celery.
  • In a baking dish, add the pasta, then the ham, corn, celery, cream, mayonnaise, and salt.
  • Mix all the ingredients, cover, and place in the refrigerator for ½ hour before serving.
  • Serve the Macaroni Salad with Ham on lettuce leaves.
