Creamy farfalle in white wine

  • 1 package La Moderna® farfalle pasta
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1/4 cups white wine
  • 1/4 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon thyme
  • 1/2 cups Manchego cheese
  • salt
  • pepper
  • Parmesan cheese
  • parsley, finely chopped

  • Add a little salt to a pot of boiling water and when it starts to bubble, add the Farfalle La Moderna® and cook for 9 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  • Melt the butter in a skillet. Sauté the garlic for 1 minute, add the flour, mix until combined and cook for 3 minutes or until it turns golden brown.Pour in the white wine, stir with a wooden spatula and add the vegetable broth, heavy cream, and thyme. Continue stirring until combined and cook for 3 minutes or until the sauce is slightly thickened. Add the manchego cheese, salt, and pepper and mix.Add the Farfalle La Moderna®, combine and remove from heat.
  • Serve the farfalle with the white wine sauce, garnish with parsley and parmesan cheese. Accompany with salad.
