Farfalle with Spinach, Mushrooms, and Caramelized Onion

  • 5 liters water
  • 500 grams farfalle pasta
  • 1 tablespoon Primavera® margarine
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 cup button mushrooms, with stem, sliced
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese
  • Parmesan cheese, for garnish
  • bacon, fried
  • parsley, for garnish
  • bread, to accompany

  • Heat water in a deep pot over high heat until boiling. Add salt, and when it returns to a boil, cook the pasta. Drain, cool, and set aside.
  • For the caramelized onion, in a pan add Margarina Primavera®, the onion, salt, sugar, and balsamic vinegar, and cook until caramelized.
  • Then add the mushrooms, spinach, cooked pasta, cream, and parmesan cheese.
  • Serve, garnish with parmesan cheese, crispy bacon, and parsley. Pair with bread. Enjoy.
