Fusilli with Bacon and Tomato

  • 2 cups fusilli pasta
  • 7 cups water, to cook the pasta
  • 15 slices bacon, diced
  • 1/4 onions, finely chopped
  • 1 cup button mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 jar Hunt´S® tomato sauce for pasta
  • 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes
  • 1/4 cups black olives, sliced
  • 3 tablespoons basil, finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup cherry tomato, for decoration
  • 5 basil
  • salt and pepper

  • Cook the pasta with water and salt until it is cooked, drain, and let cool. Set aside.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove the excess fat and add the onion and mushrooms. Cook for a few minutes.
  • Add Hunt's® Traditional Pasta Tomato Sauce, the sun-dried tomatoes, the pasta, olives, and basil. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Serve hot with a little parmesan and basil leaves for decoration.
