How to make pasta al dente?

  • 5 liters water
  • salt
  • 1 package La Moderna® spaghetti, 200 grams
  • pomodoro sauce, to accompany
  • Parmesan cheese, to accompany
  • basil, to accompany

  • In a pot, heat the water; once it starts to boil and the bubbles are large, add salt; let the water return to a boil and then pour in the Spaghetti La Moderna®. Cook for 9 to 11 minutes; it is important to gently stir the pasta with a spoon to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pot.
  • Once this time has passed, remove the Spaghetti from the pot; its consistency should be elastic, with a slightly uncooked center, known as Al dente. Let it drain and reserve with a bit of olive oil to prevent sticking together.
  • Serve accompanied by a pomodoro sauce, parmesan cheese, and fresh basil.
