The phrase, of Italian origin and which literally means “to the tooth”, means that for the pasta to be perfect it must be soft, well cooked but without losing a touch of crunch or firmness.

Ingredients

6 portions
  • 5 liters Water
  • to taste salt
  • 1 package La Moderna® spaghetti, 200 grams
  • to taste pomodoro sauce, To accompany
  • to taste parmesan cheese, To accompany
  • to taste basil, To accompany

Preparation

In a pot heat the water, once it begins to boil and the water bubbles are large, add the salt; let the water come to a boil and then pour in the La Moderna® Spaghetti. Cook for 9 to 11 minutes; It is important to move the pasta gently with the help of a spoon so that it does not stick to the bottom of the pot.
Once this time has passed, remove the Spaghetti from the pot, its consistency should be elastic, the center should be slightly raw, at this point it is known as "Al dente". Let it drain and reserve with a little olive oil to prevent it from sticking together.
Serve with a pomodoro sauce, Parmesan cheese and fresh basil.

TIPS

The general rule of thumb for cooking pasta is to use 1 liter of water for every 100 grams of pasta. Remember not to cover the pot, as the temperature will rise and this could overcook your pasta.
