In a deep bowl, mix 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, all the ricotta cheese, and 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese.
In a pan, cook the ground beef until fully cooked, remove all the water released, and add the tomato sauce and 1 cup of water. Mix well.
Grease a baking dish with vegetable spray and place a layer of ground beef filling, then a layer of 3 lasagna sheets and a layer of the cheese mixture. Repeat this two times and on the last layer place 3 lasagna sheets, ground beef mixture, and finally the cheese mixture.
Add the remaining mozzarella and parmesan cheese on top of the lasagna and cover with aluminum foil.
Bake for 45 minutes, then remove the aluminum foil and bake for 15 more minutes to brown the cheese.
Remove from the oven, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve.
