Lasagna Cups

These lasagna cups are a very original preparation, they are delicious because they are filled with rich Bolognese meat sauce, topped with mozzarella cheese; this delight is spectacular to prepare for any event.

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cups onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cups carrot, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cups leek, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cups celery, finely chopped
  • 2 cups ground beef
  • 1/2 cups tomato, chopped
  • 1 pinch thyme
  • 1 pinch oregano
  • 1 pinch salt and pepper
  • 2 cups Prego® traditional sauce
  • 9 lasagna sheets
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 1 cup basil

  • Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
  • Heat olive oil over medium heat, cook the garlic with the onion, carrot, leek, celery, ground beef, and tomato, season with spices, add the Prego® Traditional Sauce, cover, and let simmer for 10 minutes. Set aside.
  • In a cupcake mold, line the walls with lasagna sheets, at the base and around the walls of the mold, fill with the meat sauce, and cover with mozzarella cheese.
  • Bake in the oven for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven.
  • Serve on a plate and garnish with basil leaves. Enjoy.
