Lasagna Rolls

To make an individual lasagna, serve lasagna rolls that have the same delicious flavor as lasagna but make serving easier, and you can place it on a very nice plate.

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 1/2 onions, minced
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 slice Roma tomato, in vegetable garden
  • 1 can tomato purée
  • 1/2 kilos ground pork
  • 1/2 kilos ground veal
  • 1 glass white wine
  • 3/4 kilos queso fresco
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cups Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cups parsley , chopped
  • ground black peppers
  • nutmegs

  • dried bay

  • Sauté 1/2 chopped onion, garlic, add the chopped tomato and let it simmer on low heat, letting it boil for 30 minutes.
  • Pass through a fine strainer and set aside. In a pot, heat olive oil and sauté onion, add the meat, and once the meat is cooked, add the white wine.
  • After the wine has evaporated, add the tomato sauce and bay leaf.
  • Grate the cheese.
  • Cut the mozzarella cheese into slices.
  • Grease the mold with butter and place pasta, meat, and a bit of mozzarella cheese. Roll them up. Place them in the baking dish with a bit of tomato sauce and sprinkle the leftover Parmesan and mozzarella cheese on top.
  • Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 40 minutes, remove the foil and let it brown for 10 more minutes.
