Shrimp Lasagna

  • 1 package lasagna sheets
  • 1 kilo medium-sized shrimp, cooked without head
  • 50 grams flour
  • 50 grams butter
  • 1500 milliliters cow's milk
  • nutmeg
  • salt
  • white pepper, minced
  • 350 grams Gruyère cheese

  • Cook the pasta in enough water; once it boils, count 15 minutes. Remove from the water and set aside.
  • Melt the butter and add the flour immediately.
  • Stir with a whisk to form a paste.
  • Gradually add the milk and continue to whisk.
  • Season with nutmeg, white pepper, and salt.
  • Reduce until it thickens slightly.
  • To finish, place a layer of pasta, béchamel or white sauce, shrimp, and gruyere cheese.
  • Repeat the previous step until you have used all the pasta, finishing with gruyere cheese.
  • Bake at 180º C for 15 minutes. The baking dish should be covered with aluminum foil while cooking.
  • Remove the aluminum foil, return the dish to the oven to gratin for 5 more minutes.
