Tuna Lasagna with Vegetables

  • 4 cans Herdez® tuna in water, 90 g each unit
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cups onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 cup yellow corn
  • 1/2 cups peas
  • 3/4 cups tomato purée
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 package lasagna sheets, precooked
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups Manchego cheese, grated
  • basil

  • Drain the Herdez® Tuna in water, making sure to remove all the liquid. Set aside.
  • Add olive oil to a skillet and sauté the onion and garlic; when they change color, add the drained tuna and cook for 4 minutes. Add the corn, peas, and tomato puree to the same skillet, then season with salt and pepper and cook for 4 more minutes. Set aside.
  • To assemble the lasagna: place a layer of lasagna noodles in a baking dish, then add a layer of the tuna filling, two tablespoons of cream covering the tuna, and then the grated cheese. Repeat until the entire dish is filled, finishing with a layer of cheese.
  • Bake the tuna lasagna at 180 °C for 30 minutes.
  • Serve the tuna lasagna with vegetables in the same baking dish and decorate with basil leaves.
