Microwave Alfredo Pasta

No one can resist the flavor of Alfredo pasta, as it is creamy and has the perfect balance of flavors thanks to the seasonings, making it excellent for hosting guests or winning hearts. Don't think twice and prepare this microwave Alfredo pasta!

  • 3 cups Fusilli Barilla®
  • 1 1/2 cups water, hot
  • 1 cup McCormick® Mayonnaise with Lemon
  • 2 cups whipping cream
  • 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cups Manchego cheese, grated
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter, in cubes
  • Parmesan cheese, grated, for accompaniment
  • parsley, finely chopped, for accompaniment
  • baguette, sliced and bathed in garlic with parsley

  • Place the Barilla® Fusilli pasta in a heat-resistant baking dish, pour hot water, thoroughly moistening the pasta, and mix until integrated. Then, cover with cling wrap and microwave for 8 minutes. Let it rest for one minute before removing from the microwave.
  • Once you remove the baking dish from the microwave, add McCormick® Lemon Mayonnaise, heavy cream, milk, Manchego cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and enough salt and pepper. Mix very well with a plastic spoon or spatula, then add the cubes of butter and return to the microwave, covering with cling wrap, for 10 minutes. Let it rest for one minute before removing from the microwave.
  • Serve the Alfredo pasta in the microwave in the baking dish, grate some Parmesan cheese, add parsley, and accompany with baguette bread.
