Pasta Penne Arrabbiata

This penne arrabiata recipe is a delicious pasta with Arrabiatta sauce, a typical Italian sauce with a slight spicy flavor.

  • 400 grams penne rigate pasta
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 100 grams pecorino romano cheese
  • 1 dried chile, peperoncino
  • 1 can tomatillo, crushed
  • 3 tablespoons parsley

  • Put salted water in a large pot to boil. When it's ready, add the pasta. While it cooks, we prepare the sauce.
  • In a large pan over medium heat, add the oil, garlic, and peperoncino, and cook for 2 minutes. Add the tomato and cook for 5 minutes, then add salt.
  • When the pasta is ready, drain it and add it to the pan with the sauce, stirring for about 2 minutes until well combined.
  • Transfer the pasta to a serving dish, sprinkle with cheese, and then with parsley. Serve immediately.
