Pasta with Cheese Sauce

A delicious and creamy sauce that enhances the flavor of the pasta and broccoli!

  • 500 grams broccoli, (cooked)
  • 1 tablespoon butter, LURPACK
  • 1 clove garlic, (finely chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons carrot, (finely grated)
  • 1 tablespoon basil
  • 1/2 cups sour cream, LYNCOTT
  • 50 grams blue cheese, ROSENBORG, (crumbled)
  • 1 package cream cheese, LYNCOTT, (at room temperature) (227 g)
  • salt
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • 500 grams pasta, short or tubular (cooked)

  • Steam the broccoli florets for 5 minutes. Set aside.
  • In a skillet over low heat, melt the butter, add the garlic, carrot, and basil; when it releases its aroma (about 2 min), add the cream, blue cheese, and cream cheese. Stir slowly until the cheeses have melted and a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add cayenne pepper. Turn off the heat.
  • Cook the pasta as instructed on the package. Drain.
  • Serve the pasta along with the broccoli and drizzle with the cheese sauce.
