Pasta with Salmon and Caviar Sauce

This delicious long pasta is accompanied by salmon and a creamy sauce with ikura (salmon caviar).

  • 300 grams long pasta, (fettuccine)
  • 1 cup sour cream 1 cup sour cream
  • 150 grams salmon, fresh
  • 1/2 cups white wine
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil 3 tablespoons olive oil

  • 30 grams salmon roe, salmon caviar

  • Bring a large pot of water with plenty of salt to a boil. Cook the pasta in the boiling water according to the package instructions until it is al dente.
  • While the water is heating, in a skillet heat the olive oil and sauté the garlic until golden.
  • Add the salmon to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes. While cooking, shred with a fork to ensure the salmon cooks evenly. Remove from heat.
  • In a skillet, cook the cream with white wine, salt, and pepper to taste over medium heat. Cook for 25 minutes or until it has thickened and add half of the caviar, mixing well. Remove from heat.
  • In a large bowl, mix the pasta with the creamy sauce and the salmon (be careful not to break the pasta while mixing).
  • Serve on 4 individual plates and garnish the dish with the remaining salmon caviar.
