Pasta with Tuscan Cream

  • 2 cups whipping cream, for the cream
  • 1/2 cups chicken broth, for the cream
  • 1/4 teaspoons thyme, for the cream
  • 1/4 teaspoons marjoram, for the cream
  • 1/4 teaspoons basil, for the cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, for the cream
  • salt, for the cream

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cups bacon, in thin strips
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 1/2 cups sun-dried tomatoes
  • Parmesan cheese, for accompaniment

Low
  • Heat water in a deep pot and once it reaches a boil, add the pasta and cook for 7 to 9 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  • Heat the heavy cream, chicken broth, thyme, marjoram, basil, and Parmesan cheese in a pot over low heat. Cook for 10 minutes and season with salt and pepper. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • Cook the bacon in a skillet for 5 minutes or until slightly golden, add the olive oil, sauté the garlic with the spinach, season with salt and pepper, and incorporate the pasta, cream, and sun-dried tomatoes. Cook for 2 minutes.
  • Serve the pasta with Tuscan cream and accompany with salad.
