Pasta with Vegetables

Enjoy a delicious pasta with vegetables. By including vegetables, you make your pasta very healthy, and you won't regret it when you finish eating.

  • 2 cups fusilli pasta, (other types can be used)
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons pesto, (prepared or store-bought)
  • 1 handful Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup vegetables, cooked (corn, carrots, green beans, etc.)

  • Heat water over high heat in a saucepan. When it is boiling, add the pasta, salt, and olive oil. Stir continuously to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the saucepan.
  • When the pasta is cooked (it is soft, has absorbed water, and the water level has dropped in the saucepan), drain the water using a colander and return the pasta to the saucepan.
  • Add the pesto, parmesan cheese, and vegetables. Mix everything together. Then serve hot or cold.
