Red Spaghetti

Delicious red spaghetti with ham and hints of cilantro (: We hope you enjoy it a lot.

  • 1 package spaghetti, thin
  • 1/2 kilos tomato, ready for sauce
  • 1/4 sour cream
  • 5 leaves bay
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 4 sprigs parsley
  • 1 onion, medium
  • 1/2 sticks butter, small
  • 1 dash vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cups Manchego cheese, in strips or other melting cheese
  • salt, to taste

  • Cook the spaghetti with 2 cloves of garlic, half of the onion, a drizzle of oil, bay leaves, and a little salt.
  • Cook until al dente; once the pasta is cooked, drain it and remove the bay leaves, garlic clove, and onion.
  • Blend the raw tomato until it's well blended with one clove of garlic and the other half of the onion.
  • In a saucepan, heat the butter with a little oil so it doesn't burn and add the blended tomato.
  • Season well, and when it starts to boil, add the pasta, cream, and parsley, stir well, and turn off the heat.
  • Place the cheese on top of the pasta, and that's it. Enjoy!
