Shrimp Pasta in Tomato and Chipotle Sauce

  • 250 grams fettuccine pasta
  • water
  • 1 liter water
  • 16 tablespoons Knorr® tomato bouillon
  • 2 tablespoons chipotle chile, in adobo and ground
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 cups onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 400 grams medium-sized shrimp, cleaned, without shell or head
  • 1 cup cherry tomato, colored, halved
  • 4 asparagus, sliced thin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon Knorr ® shrimp bouillon
  • 2 tablespoons basil, fresh
  • Parmesan cheese, grated

  • In a pot with boiling water, cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a pot with boiling water, dissolve the contents of Knorr® Mi Tomate and cook for two minutes. Add the ground chipotle pepper and oregano, mix and set aside.
  • In a deep skillet, melt the butter and cook the onion and garlic. Add the shrimp and cherry tomatoes, asparagus, and season with paprika and Knorr® shrimp broth. Cook for about 5 minutes.
  • Add the pasta you cooked earlier, the sauce, and cook just to combine the flavors, sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese and garnish with basil.
