Spaghetti Aglio e Olio

Simple and quick traditional Italian recipe, consisting of spaghetti with olive oil and chopped garlic. It is a dish full of flavor and its preparation will not take much time. It is excellent to accompany with white wine.

4 cloves garlic
6 tablespoons olive oil
1 lemon
2 sprigs parsley
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
200 grams spaghetti
10 grams Parmesan cheese
salt and pepper

Peel and slice the garlic into thin flakes, remove the leaves from the parsley stems and chop finely. Crush the red pepper.
Cook the pasta in 2 liters of water with 2 tablespoons of salt for 8 minutes over high heat.
While the pasta is cooking, add the oil to a pan over low heat.
When hot, add the garlic and red pepper, stirring constantly.
Drain the pasta when it is al dente and add it to the pan.
Remove from heat and add the parsley and the juice of half a lemon.
Season to taste.
