Butter Spaghetti

A recipe that my mom taught me, learned by her from my aunt, simple and delicious, with a spicy touch that tickles the taste buds and adds flavor to any dish it accompanies.

  • 200 grams spaghetti, whole grain
  • 1/2 cups onion, chopped
  • 1 serrano chile, finely chopped
  • 30 grams butter
  • 2 liters water, boiling
  • 1/4 cups coarse salt
  • pepper
  • fresh cilantro, finely chopped
  • 1 garlic, finely chopped

  • Put salt and pasta in boiling water, for about 10 minutes or until it reaches the desired consistency.
  • In a separate pot, add the butter, being careful not to burn it, until it melts.
  • Add the garlic, onion, and chili to the butter, sauté them and keep this preparation on low heat until the pasta is ready.
  • Add the pasta, previously drained, to the pot, mix.
  • Turn off the heat, add the cilantro and pepper, mix one last time and serve.
