Macaroni and Cheese with Manchego Cheese

There is nothing tastier and easier than macaroni and cheese with Manchego cheese. Mac and cheese is a very flavorful, economical recipe with an unmatched taste. It is the perfect side dish or the ideal main course, and Santa Clara milk adds a special touch of flavor to the cheese sauce.

  • 1 liter lactose-free milk, light Santa Clara®
  • 350 grams pasta, macaroni
  • 2 cups Manchego cheese, shredded
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 150 grams bacon, fried and sliced
  • 50 grams butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon white pepper

  • Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
  • Heat the Lactose-Free Light Santa Clara® milk in a pot over low heat, add the pasta, and cook for 10 minutes. Once cooked, drain the pasta and set aside.
  • In a bowl, mix the pasta, butter, Manchego cheese, bacon, egg, pepper, and salt.
  • Pour this mixture into a baking dish. Sprinkle the cheddar cheese on top and bake for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is golden.
