Pasta with Anchovy

An al dente pasta with an anchovy and lemon sauce. A perfect dish for a dinner or a meal where you want to impress everyone. It is simple to make and its flavor is balanced; unique for these special occasions.

  • 1 package spaghetti
  • 1 can anchovy
  • 2 limes
  • 5 teaspoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 5 slices onion
  • 100 grams Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 pinch pepper, to taste

  • In a large pot, bring 8 cups of water to a boil along with the onion slices.
  • Once the water is boiling, add the spaghetti and cook until cutting a piece shows no white in the center (approximately 5-10 minutes).
  • As soon as the spaghetti is ready, remove it from the water and place 4-5 ice cubes on it to stop the cooking and ensure it is al dente.
  • In a small pot, heat the olive oil with the garlic until golden.
  • Remove from heat and add the juice of the lemons and the can of anchovies, mixing until dissolved.
  • Place the spaghetti on a serving platter and add the anchovy sauce, mixing well.
  • Garnish with shaved parmesan cheese and serve.
