Pasta with Arrachera and Pesto

  • salt
  • 1 package La Moderna® spaghetti
  • 2 cups cilantro, for the pesto
  • 1/4 cups parsley, for the pesto
  • 3 cloves garlic, for the pesto
  • 1/4 cups peanuts, for the pesto, toasted
  • salt, for the pesto
  • pepper, for the pesto
  • 1/4 cups lime juice, for the pesto
  • 3/4 cups olive oil, for the pesto
  • 4 cups skirt steak
  • salt
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Parmesan cheese

  • Boil enough water in a pot, add salt, and bring it to a boil again. Then, add the Spaghetti La Moderna® and cook for 8 minutes, drain, and set aside.
  • Blend the cilantro, parsley, garlic cloves, peanuts, salt, pepper, lemon juice, and olive oil. Set aside.
  • Season the arrachera with salt and cayenne pepper and cook in a skillet with a little oil over medium heat for 3 minutes on each side. Remove from the skillet, cut into strips, and set aside.
  • In the same pan, place the cooked Spaghetti La Moderna® and the pesto, then cook for a few minutes.
  • Serve the pasta with arrachera and pesto: Place the Spaghetti La Moderna® on a large plate, sprinkle with parmesan cheese, and place the strips of arrachera on top.
