Pasta with Guajillo Chile

This pasta with guajillo chile is a great option for a main dish, it has shrimp and a spicy touch that you will love, and the best part is that it will be ready in under 25 minutes.

  • 2 bags pasta, pluma (500 g)
  • 3 guajillo chiles, seedless
  • 5 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 300 grams medium-sized shrimp
  • 1 cup tomato purée
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, washed, disinfected, and dried. Finely chopped.

  • In a large pot, heat water over high heat and when it boils, add the pasta and cook for 12 minutes or until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a blender, grind the chiles until you obtain a fine powder.
  • In a skillet, heat the oil and sauté the garlic. Add the chili powder and immediately the shrimp. Cook until the shrimp change color and are cooked through.
  • Add the pasta to the shrimp mixture and fry for a few minutes. Incorporate the tomato puree, cook for 5 minutes, and season.
  • Add the chopped parsley.
