Pasta with Poblano Pepper Cream

Give your usual pasta a twist with this delicious poblano sauce that has the perfect consistency to surprise your whole family.

  • 1 package spaghetti
  • 1 cup cream
  • 2 Poblano chiles
  • 1/4 onions, sliced
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 100 grams cotija cheese
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • water, as needed
  • 2 tablespoons chicken bullion

  • Cook the pasta in boiling water with salt and a little oil.
  • Roast the poblano peppers, place them in a plastic bag for 10 minutes, clean, and blend with the cream.
  • Drain the pasta and stop the cooking with a little cold water.
  • In a pot, melt the butter over medium heat and fry the garlic with the onion until translucent.
  • Add the cream mixture, season with the broth, and add the pasta; mix and heat for 5 minutes.
  • Garnish with cotija cheese.
