Pot-Cooked Pasta

This is a quick pasta made in a pot, very simple as all the ingredients cook inside the pot and it turns out spectacular.

  • 500 grams spaghetti pasta
  • 1 cup cherry tomato, cut in half
  • fresh basil leaves
  • 1 onion, small
  • 2 garlic, sliced
  • peperoncinos, to taste
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste
  • olive oil
  • Parmesan cheese, grated

  • Chop the onion into julienne strips.
  • Slice the garlic.
  • Cut the cherry tomatoes in half.
  • Place 2 cups of water in a pot.
  • Add the pasta, onion, garlic, cherry tomatoes, and basil.
  • Season with salt and pepper and add the peperoncino.
  • Wait 10-15 minutes until the pasta is cooked and the water is almost evaporated.
  • Serve with a drizzle of olive oil, Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and a few basil leaves.
