Spaghetti with Shrimp in Cream

A delicious and easy recipe for spaghetti with shrimp in cream, ideal for Lent or any dinner you have scheduled.

  • 400 grams spaghetti
  • 400 grams shrimp, medium diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 onions, finely chopped
  • 200 grams bacon, chopped
  • 1 1/2 cans table cream
  • 1 can tomato purée, (small)
  • salt, and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Parmesan cheese, to taste

  • Cook the spaghetti al dente and set aside.
  • Add a tablespoon of oil to a large saucepan and heat over medium heat.
  • Place the garlic and then the onion. Let it cook for 2 minutes.
  • Add the bacon and cook until done.
  • Then add the shrimp to the preparation and stir until the shrimp changes color.
  • Add the half-and-half and the tomato purée, mix very well until it takes on a pink color. Let it cook for about 5 more minutes.
  • Finally, add the spaghetti and mix all the ingredients very well.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve on a plate and sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
